Nic brings extensive experience in business strategy and mergers & acquisitions.
He began his management consulting career at the Mitchell Madison Group and then migrated to several corporate roles in both strategy and M&A functions at Bombardier, SNC-Lavalin, and more recently Cogeco. In that capacity, he was responsible for the overall strategic direction of the companies and he addressed both high level and operational issues that had a significant impact on overall profitability. He has deep experience in areas such as new market entry strategy, new product launch, SG&A reduction, major business transformation and restructuring, strategic planning, and M&A transactions.
He received a Masters of Law degree from Columbia University, with the academic recognition of Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, in 1995. The previous year he completed a Master of Law degree in International Law at Cambridge University, with a first distinction. He also completed a BSc. in Microbiology in 1987 and his Law degree in 1991 from the University of Montreal.
